ERC IS RECOGNIZED AS A TOP EMPLOYER IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Santo Domingo – For the second year in a row, ERC, the global business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, has been recognized on the list of Best Companies to Work for in the Dominican Republic by business magazine Mercado. The Jacksonville, Florida-based company, which in addition to the Dominican Republic maintains operations in India and South Africa, rose three seats compared to the previous year.

“We are honored to be recognized once again as a top employer by Mercado,” said Marty Sarim, ERC’s CEO, in response to the news. “ERC has always and will always put its employees first. The agent-first mentality has helped us build our brand globally and allows us to provide opportunities from within for those who wish to further their career. It’s a formula that has worked very well for us and will continue to be the backbone of our culture.”

ERC’s Dominican Republic program includes, among other benefits, a broad training program composed of national and international trainings, coaching sessions, access to the virtual ERC University, educational financing, and recognition-based awards.

The call center and multinational BPO makes it its mission to develop a personalized career plan for each of its employees, provide coaching with certified contact centers specialists, and offer trainings, workshops, and general courses to give employees the tools they need to advance and become successful leaders.

For ERC’s José Nelton González, Executive Vice President in the country, the company’s inclusion on the list, not to mention its rising in the rankings, is a direct result of the company’s focus on effective human resources, characterized by constant professional development and family support. “The human development policies implemented by ERC for the benefit of our employees are a key factor in our continued success around the world,” said González.

A major component of the ERC mission is the concept of family support. The ERC Cares program was created with the aim of contributing to the family-work balance, with the offer of support packages for births, marriages, and losses in the family. Also, the staff has access to sports exchanges, as well as health and wellness programs.
