ERC Holiday Season Donation Drives
Philanthropy and community service have always been primary tenets of ERC’s company values. Every month, we sponsor a variety of initiatives that support various causes on both a local and national level. We also frequently participate in volunteer efforts, offering financial or material contributions to those in need.
Most recently, we were able to launch an internal donation drive to provide over 30 Thanksgiving dinner baskets to several of our employees and their families. ERC employees responded so positively to being able to make a difference in the lives of their coworkers that we are pleased to announce we are hosting an internal toy donation drive throughout the month of December.
While ERC has hosted toy drives in the past, this will be the first one to focus solely on ERC families. The goal is to help relieve some of the pressure that families facing a rough patch can feel during the holiday season.
“We felt that this year’s toy drive would be one of the best ways for us to give back to our own community this holiday season,” said Gloria Rylee, Global Employee Engagement Manager. “It’s a great opportunity to help out fellow ERC staff in need, as well as gain some exciting perks — like wearing jeans every day for the month! We’re grateful to all our employees for their kindness and generosity, and we are proud to have them as part of the ERC family.”
From now until December 14th, ERC employees can bring unwrapped new and gently used toys to all domestic locations. The on-site toy pickup will take place on December 16th; providing employees in need with time to choose gifts for their families. Any remaining toys will be donated to local foster charities.
