ANOTHER YEAR OF INCREDIBLE GROWTH AND SUCCESS IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Every year, senior executives gather in the Dominican Republic to discuss all achievements attained over the course of the year, as well as their goals for the upcoming year. Happily, 2018 was a banner year for ERC’s operations in the Dominican Republic (DR). In addition to being named one of the top employers in the country, it was recognized as the top BPO for the second year running. The company also experienced another year of incredible growth while continuing to strengthen ties with the local community.
Employee satisfaction is one of the clearest barometers of success. During 2018, ERC’s DR office simultaneously managed to lower attrition rates while creating new employment opportunities. As the organization continues to make its mark in the BPO space, the ability to recruit qualified, motivated employees is key to ensuring long-term success.
On top of that, it’s important that current employees feel that they have the training and resources they need to develop their own career. ERC’s exclusive leadership training programs is a major draw, and the company maintains the importance of promoting qualified staff from within the organization and bringing them further down the path of career advancement. As a result, the Santo Domingo headquarters was awarded with the Inclusive Good Practices Seal by the United Nations Development Program and the National Council on Disability and became the first Safety and Health-certified call center in the DR.

Finally, no discussion of ERC BPO DR’s successes would be complete without mentioning at least some of the many volunteer and community initiatives undertaken over the last year. Last year, ERC employees went above and beyond, volunteering their time and efforts for beach clean-ups, toy drives, community outreach, and much more.
